Putting Coupons to Work for You
Coupons are a great tool for your campground that encourage repeat camper nights, as well as turnouts for pancake breakfasts, ice cream socials and other fun events. They also give campers a feeling of reward and appreciation.

For bounce back coupons meant to draw people back for a return visit, the most productive offers target campers who live less than three hours away and could easily make a second camping trip during the season. Your offer should target shoulder seasons, mid-week camping, longer stays, or soft camper segments.

As with any promotional device, you’re not looking to discount current business, but rather set up an incentive for campers to stay with you again. Similar to Hot Deals, keep your bounce back coupon robust. Campers should feel the value is strong enough that they are happy to make a second or third visit during the same season to your property.

What to Include in Your Bounce Back Coupon:

• Finalize your clear and robust offer.
• Determine the offer “valid dates”.
• Identify any terms and conditions.
• Identify a K2 code for the coupon and be sure to enter it into your K2 system.
• Include your campground’s name (front and back on the color version).
• Include your 1-800#, website and address.
• Identify your KOA’s selling points.
